Supervisor

Supervisors are responsible to supervise 8+ people on shift and ensure quality care and support is being provided to residents. A supervisor must be reliable, punctual with good attendance, be respectful, and have good communication with staff.

Bethshan Association, a Christian non-profit organization, is currently accepting applications for full-time employment. The current shifts that are open are: three weeknights and every other weekend.

Requirements for the supervisor position is three years experience with developmental disabilities OR two years as a supervisor in any job capacity OR bachelors or associates degree.

Kitchen/Dietary Staff

The kitchen and dietary staff are responsible to prepare meals, plate food, and serve residents and staff meals at BI. You will be trained on all aspects of food preparation and learn specific diets of the residents at Bethshan.

Some food safety training is preferred, but not required. High school diploma and valid drivers license are required.

Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional

Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP) oversee the programs and services of residents at Bethshan. Bethshan Association, a Christian non-profit organization, is currently accepting applications for full-time hours. A Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field (psychology, sociology, education, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities include providing case management services for residents including coordinating individual service plans, meeting medical needs, communicating with families, and ensuring that residents are provided with high quality services. The QIDP advocates for each individual to ensure that they are treated with dignity and respect, given opportunities to exercise their individuality, and have access to explore opportunities of interest.

Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Persons provide services and supports to individuals who have disabilities, served by Bethshan Association in residential settings. Bethshan Association, a Christian non-profit organization, is currently accepting applications for part-time or full-time hours.

Responsibilities include providing individualized assistance and coaching with personal care, meal preparation, leisure activities, transportation, and assistance with other daily activities, as necessary, in order to assist individuals in gaining independence. Paid in-house training is provided. Must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and no lifting restrictions.
